Ingredients (6 persons):
One kilo of pork liempo cut in big chunks 2 tablespoons of honey 4 tablespoons of soy sauce 4 tablespoons of pineapple juice 2 tablespoons of vinegar 4 cloves of garlic pounded 1 big onion sliced bay leaves peppercorns 1 cup of water
How to prepare:
The secret of any adobo is in the marinade!
1. Start by washing the pork cleanly and pat them dry with paper towel.
2. In a bowl mix the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, pineapple juice, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorn, garlic and onion. Put the cut pork in the marinade and let it stand over night.
3. In a big casserole simmer for about an hour the pork with the marinade sauce, onion and one cup of water.
4. Whe the pork are cooked and tender, turn off the stove. They are even much better the next day!
