2 pcs fresh whole tofu4 tbsp cooking oil1/4 cup tomato sauce1/4 cup pineapple juice4 tbsp soy sauce3 tbsp white vinegar4 tbsp brown sugar1 tbsp cornstarch1 tsp ground pepperFresh mint leaves
How to prepare:
Heat the pan then add the cooking oil. Add the tofu and fry side by side on a medium heat until golden brown. Place the fried tofu on a paper towel. Set aside.
Sauce: In a sauce pan, mix the tomato sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and cornstarch. Cook on a medium heat. Stir occassionally until sauce thickens.
Preparation: Place the Tofu on a clean plate. Top it with the sauce, washed fresh mint leaves, and freshly ground pepper. You can also enjoy it with fried sweet potatoes.
