Clams in white wine

Ingredients (3 persons):

500 grams of Manila clams 1 teaspoon of minced garlic 1 shallot sliced 1 teaspoon of chopped fresh basil half a cup of white wine salt pepper 2 tablespoons of olive oil

How to prepare:

1. In a pan, saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Once color change to golden brown, add your clams, Cover and simmer for about five minutes.

2. Pour your white wine, and simmer for another five minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Turn off the heat and add the chopped basil leaves.

3. Served as it is or pour over cooked pasta.
